Introduction

At OG AI Sidebar, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services, including our API services and the OG AI Sidebar Chrome extension. Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.

Data Controller

IDE HOST (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED ("IDE Host", "OG AI Sidebar", "ogsolver.com", "we", "us") is committed to protecting user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We collect only the data needed to operate our services (including our Chrome extension and billing service); we do not store the actual text of your prompts or AI-generated outputs beyond the immediate API call, except where you explicitly choose to save or submit content.

Personal Information Collected

We collect standard personal data necessary for account registration, support, and billing - your name, email address, phone number, and (for paid plans) the payment metadata returned by our payment processor. To operate, secure, and personalize the service, we also collect your IP address, an approximate location derived from it (country / region / city), your browser type, and your language preference. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data such as health, racial, or biometric information; any personal information you provide is handled securely and used only to provide and operate the service.

Usage and Operational Logs

We log limited operational metrics to manage billing, prevent abuse, and improve reliability - for example, counts of requests, the feature/mode used, timestamps, token usage, and the web address of a page only when you actively invoke the tool on it. We explicitly do not store the content of your queries or the AI's responses as part of this logging; our servers treat that content as ephemeral and discard it once your result is returned, retaining only aggregated or operational usage data.

Data We Do Not Collect or Store

OG AI Sidebar is built to be privacy-first. The categories below map to the data-disclosure types defined by the Chrome Web Store. We do not sell your data, and we do not collect or store:

• Health information - such as heart-rate data, medical history, symptoms, diagnoses, or procedures.
• Financial and payment information - such as transactions, credit-card numbers, credit ratings, financial statements, or payment history. Payments are handled entirely by our PCI-compliant third-party payment processor (Razorpay), who collects only what they need to process your payment under their own privacy terms; we never receive or store your full card details.
• Personal communications - we do not read or collect your emails, text messages, or chats in other apps or websites.
• Precise location - we do not collect GPS coordinates, precise location, or information about things near your device. We do use your IP address to derive an approximate location (country / region / city), and we collect your browser and language, in order to secure your account, prevent fraud and abuse, apply rate limits, and personalize your experience; IP-based location lookup is performed by a third-party provider (ipinfo.io).
• Browsing history / tracking - we do not track your browsing. OG AI Sidebar does not run in the background, monitor your open tabs, or build a record of the websites you visit. Only when you actively invoke OG AI Sidebar on a page do we record that page's web address and the time - to deliver your result, prevent abuse, and provide usage analytics, never to profile your browsing.
• User activity - we do not perform network monitoring or log your clicks, mouse position, scrolling, or keystrokes.
• Website content - we do not retain the content you work with. When you submit text, a selection, an image, or a file, it is sent to our AI providers, processed to generate your result, and not stored on our servers afterwards; we do not keep the images you submit or the AI responses we return.

Data Collected by the OG AI Sidebar Chrome Extension

The OG AI Sidebar Chrome extension is designed to work only when you explicitly use it (for example, by clicking the extension icon or using its shortcut). The extension does not passively monitor your browsing, read background tabs, or collect browsing history. When you trigger analysis, the extension may access the current page content only to the extent needed to capture the specific question or selected content you want analyzed.

When you trigger an action, only the minimum required text and/or user-selected image content (if applicable) is sent to our backend and on to our AI providers to generate and return your result. We do not use this data for advertising or cross-site profiling, and we do not store page content, submitted images, or AI responses on our servers beyond the immediate processing request. We retain only non-content operational records - such as request counts, timestamps, and the address of the page where you invoked the tool - for security, abuse prevention, and billing.

Google Sign-In (Chrome Extension)

If you choose to sign in to OG AI Sidebar using Google, we use Google authentication only to verify your identity and securely associate your account with access/usage entitlements (for example, credits or subscription status). We request only basic profile information and email (as permitted by your consent) and do not access your Google account data beyond what is required for sign-in. Sign-in is initiated only when you explicitly choose to log in.

Cookies and Tracking

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for session management and site analytics. Cookies help keep you logged in and improve user experience. These cookies do not contain sensitive personal data and can be disabled in your browser if you wish. We may use industry-standard analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to monitor site performance, but we do not combine analytics data with your personal account information.

Chrome Extension Notice: The OG AI Sidebar Chrome extension does not use cookies or browser-based tracking technologies. The extension does not track browsing activity, monitor websites, or collect analytics data across pages. Any data processed by the extension is strictly limited to user-initiated actions and is used only to provide the requested AI-powered functionality.

Use and Sharing of Collected Information

We use your personal data to provide the service, process payments, and communicate with you (e.g., account updates, support). We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We share data only with service providers, and only as needed to operate the service: our payment processor (Razorpay) for billing; the third-party AI model providers that process your requests; our IP-geolocation provider (ipinfo.io); and our hosting and infrastructure providers - each under strict confidentiality and applicable data-protection obligations.

Data Security

We implement robust security measures to protect your data. Sensitive data is protected in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We apply access controls and operational safeguards to protect account information and service integrity. We also apply rate limits and monitoring to detect and prevent abuse. Payment processing is handled by our payment processor under their applicable compliance standards.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. Prompt content and AI outputs are processed for the purpose of returning a result and are not retained as part of standard logs. Account and billing records may be retained for auditing and legal compliance. Aggregate or anonymized analytics (which do not identify you) may be retained longer for business analysis and reliability improvements.

How to Request Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at support@ogsolver.com. We will verify the request and process deletion within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or billing reconciliation.

Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have rights over your personal data, including the right to:

• Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data
• Request deletion of personal data (subject to legal/contractual limits)
